Atelier Septain

Septain in French means a cord made of 7 strands of hemp fiber, often used in bookbinding of medieval era. Even though each strands are thin, when seven of them are twisted together, it becomes very strong cord, which holds books for hundreds of years. Atelier Septain was named because of my wish to create artifacts with strong quality which last for a long time by merging my various experiences and skills in different fields (book binding, graphic design, product design, case making, edition, and sewing).
